Or non-surgical BBL (also called non-surgical butt lift) is performed with collagen-boosting Sculptra injections. Unlike hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, Sculptra uses poly-L-lactic acid to stimulate the body’s natural collagen production. Collagen is one of two proteins that give the skin structure and support for a firm texture. When injected into the crease under each buttock, Sculptra fills out the area to create a more rounded curve that augments your backside with natural-looking results.
At the start of your procedure, Dr. Rau or Amy will sterilize the area and prep the skin. A numbing cream can also be applied to minimize any discomfort during treatment. After the area is numbed, Sculptra will be injected using a cannula and then the treatment area will be bandaged over the injection site areas. The entire procedure only takes about 20 minutes.
Almost any patient in overall good health who wants a non-surgical alternative for their butt augmentation can benefit from Sculptra butt lifts. This is a great option for patients who cannot undergo a surgical procedure or those who want a natural, subtle lift.
There is virtually no recovery time after a non-surgical BBL and you can resume most of your normal activities immediately.
